Detention Policy:

Detentions will be served every Wednesday in Mr. Lacey’s classroom from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Students will be notified by their homeroom teacher when they receive a detention. Every Monday, a list of students that are to serve detention will also be posted on the student information board.

Students missing detention for any reason will receive an official write-up. Accumulation of 5 detentions will result in an official write up and a parent conference. Multiple write ups can result in suspension or expulsion.

Students are held responsible for notifying parent or guardian about the detentions and they date they are to be served. No excuses will be accepted for missing detentions.

Detentions will be issued for the following infractions:

·     Disrespectful to teacher or peer.

·     Late or truant for class.

·     Out of uniform or uniform not worn properly.

·     Wearing hoodies in school.

·     In hallway or out of area without pass.

·     Use of cell phone during school day.

·     In building after dismissal.

·     Not following classroom policies or procedures.
