Ariel Community Academy held their annual middle school science fair on Friday, November 20. Students demonstrated their understandings of the experimental design via their very own creative experiments. A total of 128 middle school students presented their projects to community members, parents, and judges from top companies as well as various universities. Ariel Community Academy will be having its Scholastic Book Fair this Thursday night during the Math and Science Fair. The Book Fair will be located in the library. The average cost of a book with tax is $5.50. Please visit the book fair and help promote literacy and reading!

Ariel Community Academ will be having its all school Math and Science Night this Thursday, Ocboter 22, 2009 from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M.

Math and Science teachers of all grades will have a change to come into the classrooms to take part in fun activities!

You are all invited to come and enjoy the activities!

Ariel Community Academy was proud to announce graduation of the class of 2009. The ceremony was held on June 8th, 2009 and was attended by family and loved ones. The keynote speaker for this important occasion was Illinois State Treasurer, Mr. Alexi Giannoulias.

We wish the class of 2009 the best of luck in their journey towards continued success!!

This Spring, Ariel “cut loose” with our all-school musical, “Footloose”! The show performed on May 14th and May 15th, and featured the acting and musical talents of every student.

Money Smart Week is an event that is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  During this week financial institutions encourage the Chicagoland Community to broaden their knowledge base relating to financial topics.  Ariel Community Academy and the Ariel Men’s Club, inspired by our corporate partner, decided to host an event entitled, “I’m Money Smart, How About You? - Dinner Conversations with families focusing on personal finance and investment.”    This free event for the Ariel community welcomed guests  from Polaris Wealth Management, Country Financial, Cit, and the Entrepreneur’s Source.  Our students were able to share their thoughts on the current financial crisis and how they would invest in a home of the future.  The event was a huge success, with over 200 participants of all ages.  We look forward to many more Money Smart events at Ariel Community Academy!

A group of 30 attorneys from Meckler, Bulger, Tilson, and Marick & Pearson came to Ariel Community Academy to help paint the school! The firms plan to continue volunteer work at the school by creating other opportunities.

Dear Parents,

We will be hosting our second Math and Science Night on March 31st, 2009 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. The theme for the night will be “Measurement“. All the participating teachers will have interesting activities or mini-lessons based around the theme.
